Honda and Acura: Social Media Strategy and Content Management

At Honda, I oversaw the social strategy and content across Honda and Acura’s owned social media channels, ensuring a consistent tone of voice across all properties for each brand. I work closely with both creative and media buying agencies to develop targets for social media activities and measure results. I also coordinate internally with executives and managers in multiple divisions to ensure that their initiatives are represented on our social channels in a voice that is consistent with our other brand messaging.



GoodSkin Labs: Community Management and Content Creation

GoodSkin Labs had recently undergone a rebrand, shifting the focus from a clinical, scientific angle to a warmer, more friendly tone–with just a touch of sass. I managed content creation for social media channels, in addition to creating analytics reports and making recommendations for further brand development.

Lab Series Skincare for Men: Project Management: The Blue Room Facebook App

Lab Series wanted to create a portal within Facebook where fans could learn about their new skincare product, sign up to receive free samples, and enter a sweepstakes to win products. To keep fans on the custom tab, we created an interactive handshake game. Just like at a swanky club, fans have to prove they’re worthy of entry: in this case, proving they know the “secret handshake.” The game is actually a memory game: fans watch a video of a handshake, and then recreate that handshake, move by move.  Fans can also click “skip” if they wish not to play.

The site is also mobile friendly; users accessing the site from a mobile device will see a non-Flash version, not within Facebook.

Lab Series Skincare for Men: Community Management and Content Creation

Lab Series’ brand voice is authoritative, confident, masculine, and a little bit wry. I produced daily content and created analytics reports on a monthly basis.

DKNY Fragrances: Project Management: “Be Creative, Be Delicious” app

One of many Facebook apps that I produced for DKNY Fragrances, the “Be Creative” app allows fans to create their own moodboard using design elements from DKNY branding: backgrounds, logos, bottle images, flourishes, or even their own photos. We featured the best submissions on the DKNY Facebook page to encourage participation, and held a contest in which the winner would be featured in DKNY’s new advertising campaign.

Casa Dragones Tequila: Community Management and Content Creation

Casa Dragones is an ultra-premium, hand-crafted tequila with a rich brand story. In creating content for the brand on Facebook, I highlighted the culinary appeal of the product, as it was embraced by prominent chefs, as well as the product’s cultural, Mexican heritage.

The Alliance for Lupus Research: Community and Campaign Management

The Alliance for Lupus Research needed to garner more public awareness surrounding the disease and the efforts of the organization, which is largely comprised of fundraising walks. I worked on developing a campaign called “Get In On It,” which encouraged fans to participate in these events and get their friends and family involved, too.
